Graphical User Interface Update [or making this webpage look pretty] will occur soon (tm).

10/10/12 - Bounds have become unbounded! You can now use decimal numbers when specifying from and to values.

Calculator Project

This calculator will walk you through approximating the area using Simpson's Rule.

Please enter a function, starting point, ending point, and how many divisions with which you want to use Simpson's Rule to evaluate.

Note: Trigonometric functions are evaluated in Radian Mode. Please convert degrees to radians.
Also, if your bounds contain symbols (i.e. pi/2, sqrt(2), etc) . Plug in the numerical representation (i.e pi/2 = 1.57079632679)
